New Guidelines Issued for Tawaf at Mecca Grand Mosque in Ramadan

IQNA – Only Umrah pilgrims will be allowed to perform Tawaf (circumambulation) around the Holy Kaaba in Mecca’s Grand Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.

The administration of the Harmain Sharif (the Two Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina) has announced important plans for Umrah pilgrims visiting the Grand Mosque in Ramadan.

To ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all worshippers, the circumambulation around the Kaaba will be designated specifically for Umrah pilgrims in this Month.

This will allow pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and focus.

Visitors who are not performing Umrah will be able to access the upper floors of the Kaaba for Tawaf during Ramadan, ensuring ample space for everyone.

The administration has also finalized the appointment of imams (prayer leaders) who will lead the special Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers throughout Ramadan.

These updates are designed to enhance the experience of all worshippers and pilgrims visiting the Holy Mosque during this sacred month.
